Surgical Services
In terms of operative surgical services, the BHSMC has 2 operation theatres which must cover most of the surgical services from Obstetrics and gynecology, and General surgery and Orthopedics and Neurosurgery.
Laboratory Diagnostic Services
The BHSMC will be able to provide full
laboratory services for hematology,
Biochemistry, microbiology and Urinalysis.
The laboratory services which cannot be
provided at BHSMC will be done in
collaboration with other centers
Radiological Services
The initial radiological services to be
provided at the BHSMC is the Ultrasound
service. It is envisaged that within the next
one year, we should be able to provide more
advanced services including MRI and CT
scan facilities within our premises. In the
meantime, we shall be able to refer to
neighboring centers that are providing these
services.
Dispensary Services
There shall be a dispensary service within the
premises to provide all the medications that
our patients shall need.
Physiotherapy
This important service shall be provided within
the hospital for those who have undergone
surgical procedures and are being assisted to
get back to their feet and mobilize. Further
rehabilitative work will be done in collaboration
with other established Physiotherapy centers.
OTHER SERVICES
The BHSMC will work closely with the public sector to ensure that health care provision across the patient spectrum is adequately covered. It is anticipated that with the support of National health Insurance medical authority (NHIMA), patients must be easily moved between public and private institutions to enhance timely and efficient intervention for many conditions.
Furthermore, the BHSMC will be working in collaboration with other Medical centers and share expertise to enhance medical care in the nation.
